Obama Cancels Visit to Troops in Germany After Being Told No Media Allowed

Now we get the truth behind the snub. According to NBC News (of all places), Obama nixed the military base visit after being told that no cameras and no media would be permitted.  With that, Senator GDamn went off to the gym and snubbed the very troops he wants to lead.

One word: Disgrace. Two Words: GOP ad.

This from NBC:

One military official who was working on the Obama visit said because political candidates are prohibited from using military installations as campaign backdrops, Obama’s representatives were told, “he could only bring two or three of his Senate staff member, no campaign officials or workers.”

In addition, “Obama could not bring any media.  Only military photographers would be permitted to record Obama’s visit.”

The official said “We didn’t know why” the request to visit the wounded troops was withdrawn.  “He (Obama) was more than welcome.  We were all ready for him.”

Olympic Flip Flop: Obama Sponsors Olympics After Demanding Bush Boycott Same Olympics

It doesn’t get any more hypocritical than this. Just last week OKnow-it-All scolded Bush’s plan to attend.

This from USA Today:

Democrat Barack Obama took issue Monday with President Bush’s decision to attend the opening ceremonies of the Olympic Games, saying he would go to Beijing only if he saw progress between the Chinese government and the Dalai Lama.

Of course, giving money to NBC to propagandize his likeness throughout the entire China-hosted games is, I guess, not as harmful as Bush attending the Opening Ceremony. Yeah, right.

And we’re sure to hear some pretzel-like reasoning from Camp OExcuse.

This from Advertising Age:

It’s official. Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign will be among the TV sponsors of NBC Universal’s Olympics coverage. In the first significant network-TV buy of any presidential candidate in at least 16 years, the Obama campaign has taken a $5 million package of Olympics spots that includes network TV as well as cable ads.

Question: I wonder if Obama supporters who earlier threatened Olympic sponsors will back off now that the Messiah is one of the “moral cowards?” Just asking.

My opinion: Why spend $5 million with NBC when they already give him billions in free advertorial every week via MSNBC, Nightly News, MTP, etc. Or is this a legit way to pay back NBC for all the past (and future) three-up-my-leg coverage?

Secondly, this is pretty scary stuff. First his decision to change venues in Denver (to the more dictator-like theatrics of a 75,000 outdoor arena). Then his Hitler-like speech in Berlin. And now sponsoring the friggin’ Olympics? Are you serious? I mean it seems almost Mussolini-like. The Olympics are brought to you by Coca-Cola, Exxon Mobil, Bank of America, and Obama.

Obama Supporter/Thug Rapper, Who Wears “Nigger” Shirt, Calls FOX News Racist For Picking on Obama

This is just delicous. According to MichelleMalkin.com, a thug rapper named Nas, who walks around wearing a “nigger” shirt (and threatens a race war if Obama loses), has joined forces with MoveOn.org in condemning FOX News as racist.

Here’s some of Nas’ wholesme lyrics where he threatens a race war if whitey defeats Obama (note: ”guns” is poetic for “votes,” and “KKK” is just your “typical white person” in the hood).

What’s the black pres’ thinkin on election night?
Is it, “How can I protect my life? Protect my wife? Protect my rights?”
Every other president was nuttin’ less than white
‘Cept Thomas Jefferson and mixed Indian blood and Calvin Coolidge
KKK is like, “What the fuck!”, loadin they guns up
Loadin up mines too, ready to ride

Delusional Files: OBanker claims he chairs Banking Committee when he doesn’t even hold a seat

And the “fairy tale” continues… You can’t make this stuff up.

This is either: A.) A bold-faced lie on the world stage… or B.) He’s been so busy running for president (since the day he was elected in ‘04) he doesn’t remember his committee assignments.

Viewing Tip: Note, he says “just this past week, we…” and then pausing realizing he’s been on his Magical Make Believe I’m President Tour “just this past week.”

Fact: Here’s the U.S. Senate’s Banking Committee roster.

Fact 2: Here’s Obama’s Committee assignments (no Banking).

But remember, it’s McCain who gaffes (according to Anderson Cooper, Mike Allen and the rest of MSM , i.e. Obama communications team).

UPDATE: CBS News’ Kevin Dunn attempts to provide cover for Obama’s latest gaffe (or verbal flub).

It’s true that Obama flubbed that sentence, but that’s all it was: a verbal flub. What he meant was that the Banking Committee had recently reported out a bill that included some provisions from a bill he cosponsored in 2007. So he should have said “my provisions,” or something like that, not “my committee.”

Got it? He meant to say that the Banking Committee passed a bill that included parts of another bill from another committee that he cosponsored in another year.

Yep. That works.

Team Ego: This political event is “not a political event”; Ignore the campaign rally signs

The speech in Berlin is not, repeat not, a “political event.” Because, as Team Ego says, “when the president of the United States goes and gives a speech, it is not a political speech of political rally.”

One problem - as even the ass-licking liberal press spoke up to – he is NOT the “president of the United States.”

From NextRight/Ruffini for the pure unchecked ego.

This is pretty extraordinary. A candidate for the American Presidency is using flyers printed in German to turn people out for his campaign rally in Berlin on Thursday. This flyer can be found on a bilingual page on BarackObama.com advertising the event … The German flyers bear Obama’s campaign logo and say “Paid for by Obama for America.” …
So, this isn’t just some sober, high-minded foreign policy speech, part of a foreign trip occurring under the auspices of his official Senate office. It is a campaign rally occuring on foreign soil. They are using the same tactics to turn out Germans to an event as they would to any rally right here in America.

ODummy Wants To Be Clear: Israel is a Strong Friend of Israel

Foot in mouth strikes again. Video coming…

The most delicous part is his qualification “Let me be absolutely clear.” What a maroon.

From ABC News

“Let me be absolutely clear,” Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, said today at a press conference in Amman, Jordan. “Israel is a strong friend of Israel’s. It will be a strong friend of Israel’s under a McCain…administration. It will be a strong friend of Israel’s under an Obama administration. So that policy is not going to change.”

I said it a million times. And I’ll say it again. If he were a white U.S. Senator, elected in 2004, with no military background, and zero executive experience (not even a corner store), he’d be laughed off the stage for even thinking of a run at the presidency.

As Bubba said, “Gim. Me. A Break….”

McCain Ad: Media in Tank for Obama

A great, great ad from the McCain camp… It’ll be sure to piss off the sycophants in the MSM.

Most delicously, NBC News takes the biggest hit – especially Mr “Thrill Up My Leg.”

OBama Plans On Being President for the “Next 8-10 Years”

Nothing earth shattering here.. Just your typical egotistical gaffe from the Messiah. I guess he’s fairly confident that A.) he’s going to beat McCain and B.) win a second term (for 6 years?).

OBomba: Lone Bomb Fell on Pearl Harbor

Another for the gaffe nation files…

Born in bred in the very state where the bombs (plural) fell on Pearl Harbor, ODunce claims it was a bomb (singular) while trying to play the part of president.

Viewing tip: A.) The “Judgement to Lead” sign is a prop straight from SNL. B.) ONitwit goes off script and realizes it with his patented “uh, uh” at 23 seconds.

History Lesson for OMoron:
The Japanese attack force under the command of Admiral Nagumo, consisting of six carriers with 423 planes, is about to attack. At 6 a.m., the first attack wave of 183 Japanese planes takes off from the carriers located 230 miles north of Oahu and heads for the U.S. Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor.

Pearl Harbor – At 7:02 a.m., two Army operators at Oahu’s northern shore radar station detect the Japanese air attack approaching and contact a junior officer who disregards their reports, thinking they are American B-17 planes which are expected in from the U.S. west coast.

Near Oahu – At 7:15 a.m., a second attack wave of 167 planes takes off from the Japanese carriers and heads for Pearl Harbor.

Liberal New Yorker Magazine Depicts Obamas as Terrorists in the White House

Pretty typical stuff here… Satire from the left but blame the “right wing.”

Personally, I don’t agree with this depiction at all. Rev Wright would be over the fireplace and Michelle would never wear her hair like that.

The ‘Wonder Years’ Matchup: Muslim Punk vs Patriotic Hero

Some person, at some time, came up with the saying that a picture is worth a “thousand words.” Well, this pic should be worth a landslide victory.

I got this via email yesterday. It basically says it all. The guy on the left is going to lead our military in a time of war? Are you kidding me!

Enough said.

Obama Tells Rolling Stone He Loves The Town-hall Debates That He’s Running Scared From

This one is delicous. But then again, when the press is in the tank, you can basically say and get away with anything – especially with left wing rags like RS.

Obama says this with what I’m guessing was a straight face:

I love the town-hall meetings, where I’m just interacting with voters, and they’re asking me questions and making comments. There’s an exchange there that’s real. I hear their stories… [ellipses in original] that actually is what then informs my speeches and the message that I’m delivering.

History….

Flashback: Tough guy Obama says he’ll debate McCain anytime, anywhere. Note: This was following his clock-cleaning by Hillary in the ABC/Wiliam Ayers debate, while she was still on his trail trying to force more debates. He was running scared from Hil at the time - so he wanted McCain. Got it?

Flashback 2: Surprise. With the nomination stolen, Obama refuses to debate McCain anytime, anywhere. Instead offers one townhall debate on the 4th of July – when absolutely no one watches TV.

Here, McCain laughs at Obama’s proposal.

Barrack Hussein Obama, Friend of William Ayers and Jeremiah Wright, Lectures America on Patriotism

Does it get any more bizzaro-world than this? Obama, the 20-year member of Trinity United, the man who was above wearing a flagpin, has the stones to lecture us on what it means to be patriotic?

As Bubba would say: Give.  Me  A.  Break.

This is the same guy who calls Reverend Wright a “great man… my mentor.” And who refers to William Ayers as a “scholar,” not a domestic terrorist.

And the lapdog media licks it all up.

After this. There is no question in my mind that this guy could snort blow on stage, while giving a  speech on the dangers of drugs, and still get a pass? Without quesiton.

Up next in this series: Leon Spinks to lecture on the importance of an education.
